PBS operator error?

But you’re right, I probably should’ve thrown in a “YMMV” in addition to “BWYWWWYB”

Agreed. At least 2015. Probably 2016. Numerous Widebody Captain positions posted will cause cascading vacancies clearing out ATL717A

Imagine if we had bids every month, that always opened and closed on the same dates, with a fixed conversion windows of, oh, I dunno, maybe 90-100 days. And maybe, just maybe, imagine the Company putting out a list of people bidding each position so people really had a good idea of who's ebbing and who's flowing. You could call it, oh, I don't know, a "pref-up list".

What a wonderful world that would be. I know, I know, crazy talk, because if there was a better way, we'd be doing it already...

Thays exactly how some of the regional airlines work. Bids every month and you can see on a list what everyone is bidding with their names and seniority numbers. Why wouldn’t a major airline do this?

Do the 1300 or so that are still out have reinstatement rights? My guess is not, but I thought there was some Cares Act clause in LOA 20-04 that cancelled certain aspects of the deal

I’ve always considered a MOAB to be the amount and variety of positions offered on the AE.

In order for the company to post a 365 day conversion window, there has to be displacements. They can only do one 365 conversion per calendar year.
