Only small percent of people allowed in at one time, testing 3x/week for the privilege to wear a mask all day. And that was for the vaccinated. They said HR and legal had no clue how to bring people back. I think NYC is 18-24 months from getting business and international travel back, if ever.
They will have to or they will eventually be at a competitive disadvantage. This is not the first time I have heard that we are at the “end of bidness travel” over the past 30 years. The same thing was said after 911 and after video conferencing was readily available.

Zoom is not a substitute for an in person meeting. The companies that only show up on a zoom call will be far behind the company that has their rep sitting in front of their customer, client etc.

It may sound like wishful thinking and of course maybe “it will be different this time” but history provded otherwise when these predictions were previously made.

The comment was so silly I didn't bother responding. I know enough people that work in NYC to know it's gibberish. Business travel returns in the fall

NY is second in the nation in deaths per million so I guess their militant approach to solving this must be working really well. California currently has the most active cases by over a million more than the next closest state. I’m glad I live in neither state.

You must be really bad at understanding how math and statistics work. That’s like saying more people have died in total from crashes on Delta Air Lines than on Ariana Afghan Airlines, therefore Delta Air Lines is more unsafe than Ariana Afghan Airlines. See how dumb that sounds.

California is #39 in terms of total cases per capita on COVID and #34 in terms of deaths per capita.

Of course you can look at it “age adjusted” since the fatality rate is much worse the older the population. California is way up the list in that regard since they are generally a much younger population than say FL and maybe NY.

Ok bro, sorry to offend your intellect. I brought actual verified info from an upper level manager at a Fortune 500 corporation. These are real issues many large corporations have to work through. This manager was frustrated with situation but it doesn’t make it less true. My estimate on NYC and it’s return is worth what you paid for it. But everything else is factual.

While businesses are clueless about getting employees back to work, the employees have figured out how to enjoy NYC or travel as tourists. Manhattan was packed with people yesterday and today. JFnK Terminal 2 has reopened to handle the passenger volume.

BS. We're you and I in the same city?

Has it improved since prison "lockdown 1.0" yes. Is it NYC of 2018/2019/2015? NFW.

Lockdown 2.0 is coming. The C man and the good mayor will see to it.

NYC is F'd for the foreseeable future.

We had to open T2. More RJs flying.

We have multiple reports of significant improvement from pilots who fly thru NYC along with multiple pilots who live in the area and you still are on this Doomsday NYC theory? I DHed from JFK the other day on a FULL 330. I had a layover downtown. Skyhop never arrived due to traffic. Took an uBer Black Model Y. 1.5 hr drive. Had dinner with family. Restaurants full. The city was lively. People are out socializing and enjoying life. NYC is well on the way back. Do you think we ALL are on here BSing or you just like to troll?
