Why some doctors go into the fields they do is interesting. No way in hell would I want anything to do with women's issues.. Give me a nice heart or brain
Just sayin' I also hear they have the best stories - "A million to one shot Doc....." :D Proctology |
You know what they say about proctologists.
When they go to medical school, they start at the bottom....and stay there. (They also like to tell you why they wear brown shoes) |

If you were older than average (and NWA tended to an older demographic), with just a little longevity, the point cliff hit pretty hard. The opposite, with a younger guy but with more time worked out better because there was a bit more time to recapture it with a flat DC.
The peak hiring was in mid-98 in that cycle. If you managed to get in before that, you tended to do relatively better. DC-9 captains just before the age-65 thing made it into mid-98 before the big re-wind. After that, you were locked into whatever it was you were doing for a long time. |

So true, to include flying turbo props or crj 100/200 for a decade at $56 as a captain or $39 as an FO. Being locked in sucked.

you got $39/hour as an FO? I think I was in my sixth year in the RJ right seat before I got to that
