It really doesn't. It has a backspace though. I'll try to abide by Puddys rules of internet posting more closely since the FO is out doing the walkaround and unavailable for dictation at the moment.

I thought they fixed the issue where you always had to quote someone to reply to a thread (and yes it’s very easy to then press and hold, select all, and backspace to clear out the quote). Now there’s a “reply to thread” option that gives you a clean post to start with.

that’s just common sense that a quote is a reply. It takes two seconds to double tap the paragraph and delete it all. There’s no way someone is actually that lazy they can’t be bothered with such a task.
