I understand your point, but something needs to change. We’re not able to adhere to the schedules we bid on due to endless reroutes. We can’t swap days or drop trips. I’m open to suggestions, but the only conclusion I can reach is, “Have you considered becoming more senior?” Even with 30% seniority in my category, I still struggle to swap or drop trips.

But I get your point. Somebody, at some level, is dropping trips driving the matrix black…
So they are exercising their seniority as we are all able too. If they didn't drop, then the next pilot junior would. The problem is not pilots doing what they want with their own seniority, it's the company CHOOSING to use 23M7 and creating the resultant landscape. Why are we intent on firing inside the circle? Understaffing is also a huge part of this, which again is on the company, not pilots.

Not sure why you are quoting me. I didn’t so much as criticized anyone.

And frankly, there is almost no one blaming the senior pilots for doing what they are doing. I think we would all do the same thing. The primary complaints are clearly at the company’s CS practices, and around who is able to get the cheddar.

Clearly, APLA is looking to ‘level’ the 23M7 payments, as it was a key question on the C26 survey. I have no doubt they also plan to address the dumpster fire that is the 7:59:59.999 prior-to-report assignment call shenanigans.

7:59:59.999 you say? More like call 8:45 prior to report, realize that per the PWA they can't assign an IA that early, and then tell the pilot to call back right at 8 hours.

So we gave the company via the MOU a fix for their coverage issues and now have to use our leverage to fix perceived 23M7 unfairness? Not too optimistic about this next contract if we are giving away all our leverage. We had the company right where we wanted them.

I'm sure there is a more appropriate place for all these discussions, like any of the 4 threads discussing 23,M7. Anyways, anyone heard about a drop yet for January?
