What would you say is the easiest way to get to ATL without bidding the 717. I’m a southeast commuter and I’m just curious what will provide the best QOL out of the ATL base.

Probably 73N. But the 717 will get you to atl quickest and you will have the shortest time on reserve.

I hear the 717 has filled some of the regional void and is flying 5-6 sectors these days. True?

Sectors? Not sure what that means, but ATL717 pretty much stays east of the Mississippi and south of the mason-dixon these days

717 bid packages look a lot like the RJ ones I used to fly. On the other hand there are trips on all 4 ATL NB fleets that look like this. I think the other 3 have more variety, but 4 leg days seem to be more and more common on all ATL NB fleets.

I personally have not seeen a scheduled 6 leg day on any fleet here, but I have not looked that hard.
