I got one interview and subsequent offer after years of trying every possible avenue to escape regional hell and I知 very happy it was at Momma D.

With the amount of hiring and staffing needs we have, almost every new hire will be able to transfer to their desired base (on their initially assigned aircraft) on the very first AE that comes out after they are hired. This last AE had openings in every base for every narrowbody plane except maybe the 7ER in a base or two. So realistically it's really more dumb luck as to when you get to move. Some people get lucky and the AE comes out right after they start indoc, so within 9 months they can be where they want to be, or at least out of NYC. If you start right after an AE comes out (like this last class) then you're going to have a bit of a longer wait. My guess is there will be an AE every 2-3 months next year. There may be a slightly longer break over the summer if they do a big May bid.
But again to reiterate, any new hire will be able to transfer to another base on the same airplane as soon as there is a bid out.

Yeah I知 military, no other calls from AAL/UAL, but certainly not griping about having a Delta CJO! I appreciate all the info everyone has posted, lots to think about for sure if I get a CJO from elsewhere. AAL is hella enticing based on living 20 minutes from a big domicile, company itself worries me where DAL doesn稚 give me pause at all with regard to a sustainable business (as if I知 an expert in this area anyways lol). Anyways! Looking forward to joining the team!

They've claimed they won't back fill SLC220 to offset for SEA growing but then last bid anyone who wanted it was awarded it.
I'd take 73N personally for less risk with the 220SEA base since they aren't consistent with their messaging on what SLC220 base will look like. Better trips, overnights, pay, seniority and.73N has growth with the lion air 739's coming. So I'd say that's a pretty safe bet.

This is an important thing for newbies to note. I wouldn't trust what the company puts out on how they'll backfill or not on an AE. If you want something, put in a bid for it...add a percentage qualifier if needed.

bid what you want and want what you bid!!!! Now I'm stuck on the ER because of my rookie mistake of trusting their numbers where they said they would award LAX320 and they didn't! The AE numbers are essentially useless until bid is processed...
