Can confirm. I am tall and when I was deciding between the 320 and the 737, I was really on the fence. I looked at pay, relative seniority, bid packs, etc etc with just a passing thought to the ergonomics. Luckily, I had the opportunity to go sit in both seats down in sim land before deciding. After just a few minutes in the 737 seat, my mind was made up.

Would be interesting to hear someone's perspective from the A220 airframe. How does it compare to the 73N & A320 respectively for a taller than average person?

The rumor is quite an exaggeration. There are currently 58 B717s in service with plans to bring back 6 more. The total being 64 and that’s it. It was originally supposed to only be 48 post COVID.
At a peak there were 91, with 88 being usable. They have since parted out or sold 20 or so of them. I think most 717 positions have been accounted for, but it will continue to be a revolving door for the foreseeable future.

I thought it was, but I never have had any problems with any aircraft I've flown. Not have a big stupid control column really makes it seem roomy, despite the fact that the tray table is the biggest piece of engineering garbage ever.
The plane will make you lazy though, it literally does everything for you. Even complete most of the checklist reading for you

i was more comfortable on the A220 than I am on the 7ER. I’m 6ft2 and having no yoke in the way on the 220 was great. Seat doesn’t recline as much as the ER but overall I felt more comfortable in the 220 seat.

That's kind of my point. Only I'm giving a definite measurable edge to the Bus category in general. IMO it is a quieter plane category overall. But its no where near as roomy/quiet/ergo enough to justify a large double digit hit to relative seniority just for those reasons.

Agreed with 220 is more comfortable than the 7ER. Sure tray table sucks but who cares. So much room. No yoke at your feet. So much area around the joystick it's nice. Liked that cockpit a lot. Only downfall was seat didn't recline enough....
