I know, that’s why I made my comment. If airbus would make an -900 length variant that had the same wing, landing gear, engines, and MTOW as the -1000, it would be able to take a full pax load (~300) on 17+ Block hr flights.

the -900 range is 8,100nmi
the -1000 range is 8,700 nmi
the 777-200LR flew ATL-BOM at 8,510nmi
i wonder if either airbus variant can actually do those distances with a full payload.

im an idiot, ATL-BOM is 8,510 statute miles not nmi. It’s 7,400 nm. Kinda makes those airbus ranges not very believable
