I’m in the 12/21 class. I haven’t received hotel or flight information yet. How soon would they send that to me? When should I reach out? Thank you.

Mine came about 1.5 weeks prior to start. It’ll come in chunks but I’d give it a few more days.

Also, try to get on with another legacy in the mean time. It helps when you’re working at a competitor and then show up for the six month interview ready for business.

If you get on with another legacy in the meantime I would just stay. 6 months of seniority is a lot of numbers to give up in this hiring environment.

That all depends on where you live and commute. 6 months of numbers may be fine if you live in base.

Does anyone know If we are supposed to keep updating our airline apps after we have a confirmed interview date? My interview isn’t for another 6 weeks.

Recommend keeping it updated with additional flight time, new medical date, or changes in address/phone # etc. But they are adamant about not making changes w/in 2 days (business days I believe).

Well - they haven't said specifically for 2022, from what I recall. They last said "more than 1,000 by next summer [2022]. I could see around another 600 needed by summer, which usually means by May.

We haven't heard anything about after next summer, but the general consensus is with all the aircraft deliveries, we're going to have to hire continually for a while. I would guess 1,000ish for all of 2022, if I had to pick a number. Starting Jan 1st, they are changing around the sim times to allow for more 20% more training per day, sooo...
