Assessment complete

I took the assessment today, and hoping to hear back with good news soon. I've read this thread from the top, and the practice advice seemed spot on in my experience. Fingers crossed for an interview invite soon! I'm happy to talk in greater detail if you want to hit me with a private message. I don't blame anyone for waiting until I get the results before trusting me though!

FWIW, I'm a military only tanker guy with 4k hours, 3k TPIC, IP/EP. Applied 9/1, 1 fresh LOR 9/9, assessment invite 9/21.

Any suggestions for a briefcase to carry my docs/logbooks in? I don’t own one

I don’t even own a suit. Does any recommend places to get one?

A year ago furloughs were the biggest concern for them .The massive hiring hiring doesn't affect me at all. It's a continuum. I don't think I was talking about age 65...but you can have at it if that's your flavor of the day to be upset about.

Nah, I’m not upset about anything.
You mentioned the rapid rise in hiring as a good thing for the junior guys and not so much for senior guys. While I agree, I was pointing out (poorly I’m sure) that there have been things that have benefited senior people more than junior. If there was any question, I see the hiring as a really good thing. Cheers

A small computer bag will work great. Document drop off is the first event of the day then you will put the bag away out of sight for the remainder of the day. Don’t overthink this.

Go get a conservative gray or dark blue suit. Men’s Warehouse or similar off the rack store is great. A decent suit will serve you well in the future. Also, you don’t need a red tie. The best tie is the one no one remembers.

If you guys fly to the interview, what’s the best way to bring the suit so it doesn’t wrinkle? Do you guys have a special case for it or do you wear it while you fly there? I know if I throw it in my suitcase, it might get wrinkled.

Sorry this is not something I do and still need to get a suit. Thanks.

Hand carry it in a garment bag is what I did. The FA hung it up for me.
