That’s fine, it’s what I used. Make sure it has your current address. In fact make sure everything has a current address.

I laughed at her. I think I had around 9000 hours at the time, including around 3500 in 737s.

Things like that, designed to get under your skin.

The DL interview, for comparison, was more like talking about flying with friends you just met.

Is any of this relevant today? I don’t know. But I’m old, and I like telling boring stories of how it was ‘back in my day…’ Just ask any of the poor FOs sentenced to sit next to me for 4 days.

I had almost the same experience. Night and day. When I sat down with the Delta interviewers and one started talking about restoring a warbird, I knew I was home if they’d take me. I’ve spent my career feeling so lucky it went that way and I was hired here instead of there. Best of luck to everyone applying, testing, and interviewing out there.

Has anyone stayed at the Renaissance around there? I don’t mind going to the Hilton but I’m more of a Marriott guy.

I've got my ARMS folder and my Air Force flight time squared away, I'm digging for my old logbook from when I first started flying. My OPRs, Form 8s, and Form 942 are all computer print offs not "original" pen and ink documents. Is that ok? I also have searched high and low for my FCC license, and can't find it, but found on the FCC website "ULS" or whatever that I can print an "original copy". Does this count as a copy, or an original, or both? Again, I am probably over thinking, I just don't want paperwork and the ability to follow directions to be the thing that tubes my interview, I can do that on my own! Hahaha! I'm really excited about the opportunity, it's almost unreal. Thanks for any feedback.

Printouts of your OPRs, 942, and Form 8s are fine. The pilot selection team is aware most of the AF records are digital. Recommend printing two copies of any digital records.

Completely agree with advice already provided concerning your licenses.

Good luck!

As everyone stated get the FCC squared away. In regards to your log books and hours, they only wanted out FHR 6 years ago. So 1-2 sheets total for hours; did this change?

The Renaissance concourse is a nice hotel, little bit longer walk and part of it doesn’t have a sidewalk. They do have a shuttle to HQ. It’s an atrium hotel where it’s all open in the middle and the bar can get loud if you’re worried about that. It’s also right next to the runway so one side can be loud from outside too.

AC Marriott Gateway is nice and new. You'll need to pay for a Lyft/Uber though.

FCC did NOT need current address when I went though.

Pilot selection includes instructions in the interview invite. Current instructions are very good and broken down for civilian as well as each service. For the AF is FHR and FHS. That’s all I brought for flight logs and was never questioned.
