Buddy of mine was 3 weeks after CJO and decided to get in contact with the company that does the background check....turns out they were done with the check but somehow didn't actually send the results to Delta.

They corrected that mistake while on the phone with my buddy.....he got Indoc invite that very afternoon.

Best of luck to you and we'll see you on the line soon!

When I was hired in 2015, I asked the hiring director a similar question and was told, in so many words, you can turn down a class once, and it better be for a very good reason. When they call you a second time and offer a new class date, you better say yes as there won't be a third phone call.

That makes sense, just trying to understand how all this works, only ever been in the 135 world

How far out is the date? Like 2 weeks or 6 days or2 months?? That’s what i am trying to understand, im sure some of it is based upon how backed up the training department is

Interview Assessment

Did the assessment a few days ago. I highly recommend using Cut-e tests or Ready, Set, Takeoff's new cogs test prep. It's nearly identical to what the assessment was like with a few different details. Have a web camera and mic for them to observe you taking the tests. You can prep for all but the personality test. Just be honest with that. I feel pretty confident. I haven't heard back yet but based on what others have been saying I might be waiting a little bit. That won't stop me from checking my email every hour even if it is the weekend.

Well my data is six years old now, but for me, my interview was mid-January. Phone call with class date was about a week and a half later, and started class early March.

So a solid 4-6 weeks lead time. Like I said, probably all dependent on the training department? Thanks for the answer

I see some people have been using both RST and Emerald Coast for the interview prep. Is there any additional benefit for the cost, of using both vs. going with one or the other?

Thanks for any feedback!

RST, unless they changed since my day, does the app review and cog stuff. I hear it’s got updates for the new assessment as well. Emerald Coast does interview prep. So I used both since they focused on different areas. My info is dated though…

I used Emerald Coast only for the interview specifically. This was all after getting my app reviewed by Checked and Set, and buying the $20 cut-e prep. I’m unfamiliar with what RST has to offer wrt the new system, but I don’t feel I was missing anything in my preparation. I got the CJO last week.

Good Luck!!!
