My guess is they’re not willing to lower that standard as long as people are successfully passing. Nor should they…it’s way too early in the game to be doing that with how many pilots are going to be hired in the next several years. No point in lowering standards for the tip of the spear of pilot hiring.

I guess the people I know must be idiots or something. I know 4, and they are 50/50 pass fail.

3/5 I know passed. The other two got the 6 month reapply.

Im scheduled for 8/24. After some advice, I changed my reservation to the Hilton. Atlanta shouldn’t be too bad for a mid-morning stroll late August in a black suit, right? 😂

Do know Delta likes metrics and on time arrivals. Early is better.

I’d get it done one day one, if at all possible.

I think it would be prudent to do it within the window. Any other advice is unfounded. Don't take the test until you are in quiet place and mentally prepared..

Look at the company "gouge" for the old test screening; it was tens of thousands of pages of recommended "study material" basically encapsulating the entirety of pilot knowledge. Its like your spouse saying "if I have to tell you then nevermind".

Don't take it personally, just dig in and try again in 6 months.

per workplace posts, the point is that the assessment cannot/should not be “studied for”

It wasn’t me. I’m on the SL. Just throwing out info for those curious, as I have many friends applying right now. A couple of them didn’t make it, and I basically told them the same. A six month reapply is nothing in the grand scheme of a career.
