Prep
I did Emerald Coast. But from what I hear both are priceless and worth the investment. With Emerald Coast, you have a lot of opportunities to practice and I found the rapid fire sessions to be fantastic prep. Let me know if you have questions.

I also did spitfire for another airline I am targeting. Spitfire has an academics course included for mil guys who know nothing about 121. That was very helpful to me. Bottom line both are great. |

Has anyone gotten their Delta app triggered after interviewing at another legacy? I’ve heard that might be a thing but not sure if it’s coincidence?
Very likely a coincidence. A competitive app at one is more likely to be competitive at others anyway. |

I took the assessment last week and got an email today that I didn't pass, but they won't tell someone what they failed. I felt like I did well on the assessment and was surprised to be told I failed. When you get one of these emails, is it really only talking about the assessment test or could it mean something else is wrong with your app etc?
How can you prepare for another chance later if you don't know what went wrong? |

Thanks! I’ll definitely get emerald coast!!
The director of recruitment came out and said “if you used Emerald Coast or Cage, hey your money back now” when we interviewed. I used them and thought they were ok but they did have canned answers some recruiters are having issues with lately (like taking the captain out for a steak dinner to resolve an issue.) I used Aero Crew Solutions and they were good, taught the formats well and I felt prepared. Happy to say I got the job, I think interview prep has been worth it despite how extrovert/ social I am! I used Raven Careers and they did a fantastic job. It might have been that their style was very well suited for my personality, but it felt very personal and not the least bit canned. Just got the class date a couple of days ago and looking forward to flying with all of you soon.

I also used Raven. Highly recommend. A ton of personal attention. They are very available as well for questions outside of sessions.

Right To Work Clarification
Canadian citizen and Air Canada pilot here.
What “right to work” is accepted by Delta? My wife is starting a business in US and expects to obtain an E2 Investor Visa, which is given for 2-5 years. It has multiple extensions as long as the business is running. As her spouse, I am given open work authorization for the same amount of time (2-5 years), which is also extendable indefinitely. Based on this, I’m considering applying for the US majors. My concern is whether any of the US major airlines accept a 2-5 year work visa? PS: I’ve emailed the recruiters (no reply yet) but also looking to see if anyone has personally been through this. |
