Hey guys, does anybody know if Delta waits until all background checks/PRIA checks are complete before giving you a class date? Or do they give you one contingent to those coming back without issues?
|
You get no visibility on when the background checks are completed. But people in my interview batch got different class dates based on what I would assume is background/PRIA turnaround time.

Interview Dates
Hello all, those that have gotten a interview date, seems they're scheduling 6-8 weeks out. Has anyone had luck calling and getting a earlier date because of cancellations or something of that sort ? Thanks!

I don’t think neutrality or analysis result in good scores. Honesty and consistency seem to go further. If you answer with what you perceive to be the “right” answers all the time, the test will be invalidated because there are no perfect people without any faults. If the test detects you to be too perfect, it assumes that you’re lying. So be honest and don’t overthink it too much. |
So did everybody fail this time around? I also felt really good about all the cog tests and pretty good about the personality test too. Answered honestly the best I could, since a lot were choose the less bad of two bad choices. Honestly pretty bummed since I thought it went so well when I was doing it.
Also, do the spatial orientation questions just loop until the timer is done? I started out answering one every ten seconds or so, taking my time, but they kept coming as the timer was ticking down and I started answering one every couple seconds (very confident on these, they came more naturally than the rest) and I must have answered at least 35 of them in the 2 or 3 minutes they allotted. |
Assessment fail
Yeah I was pretty shocked I failed the assessment too. Got the email yesterday morning. Have absolutely no idea what happened.

My take is the COG games are there to frustrate and the personality portion is the pass/fail. After 5 days of mastering the games via CUT-E I admittedly did mediocre on the actual assessment games. My strategy for the personality portion was to stay relatively neutral (maybe one full agree) and lean towards being an empathetic team player (it’s not all about you!). It got me to the interview. |

Unsure, I just know I got an e-mail from Delta saying that I passed the background check and I have yet to be assigned a class date. Hoping that is the trigger for BI!
