Congrats. If you don't mind me asking, when did you hit submit on your app, and what is your availability date? I submitted about a month ago (1yr out availability date) and haven't heard.

Also, how did they send you the assessment invite? Is it a call or email? And, what area code/email address? Did they leave a message? I don't want to accidentally ignore it if it's not an ATL area code, or have it go to my junk email.

They emailed it to the email address I had provided on airline apps, it came from Delta's airline apps email account. My availability was 2 week notice essentially when I submitted back in early August. My friend who is in Systems right now rewrote his letter of recommendation because the original one was before his Indoc started so he was technically still flying at his previous company; that may have been the magic I needed because I received the assessment email a few days later. It's apparently a mistake to put your availability out far ahead according to my friend in the training department at Southwest, he said "you never do that.". I made that mistake applying to Southwest and American because I was being greedy waiting for my company bonus check this year. I also have a friend who is an FA at Delta that wrote a letter and is a reference.

When I submitted years ago I had it as three weeks. After updating it last year i got the assessment invite from "[email protected]" Since I was employed for a good private operator I changed it to 5 weeks after getting the interview invite. During the interview they asked why I changed my availability and seemed to really like my answer.

This has been one of the major drawbacks of this whole process! Answering the phone!

I submitted my app 6 months ago with 4 internals and app reviews from two outside consultants and haven’t heard anything. So who knows?

Allow myself to quote myself. Wouldn't you know, a day after posting that I got the assessment invite. Are you listening Delta? haha

That’s awesome, congratulations! I also have four internals and had my app professionally reviewed. I’m considering paying for a second review, did you get a few more tips and recommendations during your second review?

Both reviews were helpful though it was a good app with just the first review.

I didn’t pass the online assessment so it turns out I’m the problem 😂

Just took the assessment recently. For anyone interested, I started with Spacial Orientation, then I believe I did the Reaction Speed, Multitasking, Monitoring Ability, Deductive Logical Thinking, Complex Control and then ATC clearances. Final item was personality test. I did not have to do Applied Numeracy or Inductive Logical Thinking.

Just got the CJO, any updates on how far out are class dates? Also, what would be an easier commute to ATL, MCO or FLL? I live in between. TIA!

Whatever has an open cabin or jumpseat you can get on at the time (plus a backup flight)! When going to work, do what lowers your stress. I'd vote FLL just in case something goes bad there and you have PBI/MIA as other options. Plus, free parking if any are flight attendant bases (I don't know the FL ones)

There are FA bases in MCO and FLL
