Nah, just sport b!tching, as is our birthright.

I don’t think anyone here is actually advocating changing a thing, as if we even had any control over it anyway.

I could get behind class date based on how long your app was published. If that was the case I'd be a tree fiddy captain by now

I vote for seniority based on when you got your ATP.

And that seniority engraved in stone on a national seniority list.

And longevity based pay not just by DOH, but by DOB.

Luckily at the moment the movement combined with the monthly AE’s is allowing people to get where they want pretty quickly so currently it doesn’t really matter unless you’re that unfortunate soul who lives out west and gets the 717 on drop night.

Please don't kick me while I'm down.

Better idea: Military retirees go to the bottom of the class. They already got a pension.
Followed by mil dudes with Tricare
Then dudes that get a VA disability check in reverse order.
Then the regional/cargo/LCC peeps can get figured out in SSN order since they made the career choice to fly airline in the first place, they shouldn't be penalized
Top of the seniority list will be the Propel and ex DL employees since they drink the Kool aid the hardest.

Signed,

If someone was really serious about getting hired at Delta they’d change their SSN themselves.

That's freaking hilarious. Which (if possible, and I assume it would be but idk) would likely generate more lawsuits over that methodology than the original fake one about age.

Yea, pretty funny.

One kid has a SSN with last 4 of 000X....anything would be better than that! Alas.....not too easy to get it changed.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • The Social Security Administration generally discourages people from changing their Social Security number, except under certain circumstances.
  • Acceptable reasons for obtaining a new number include ongoing identity theft or threat of personal harm, such as from domestic abuse.
  • Receiving a new number doesn't erase the old one, which will remain on file at government agencies and some businesses."

So he's gonna have to pay someone to repeatedly steal his identity...unless he's already at Delta then he's already screwed 😂
