i think the 6 week notice for Feb has passed. Wouldn’t be shocked to only see one class in March.

Roughly how large are the classes?

If that is true, clearly shows a lack of DEI hiring.

Being a retired old fart I have no knowledge of what today's hiring/training process is but I do get asked by some of the kids I know who are currently enrolled in pilot training programs so I thought I'd ask here.

The 2 most often asked questions I get are; how long is the training once you get hired, (actual training footprint, indoc+systems+sims) and is all the interviewing process done on line or is there an in-person interview after passing the online stuff?

I do point the kids to this web site for more info but any timeline info would be appreciated so I can answer questions. Thanks.

Training footprint is around 6 weeks. 2 for indoc, then about 4 weeks for systems + sims.

Interview in person after online stuff. There's a MMPI on the computer and an actual interview with pilot and HR person.

Also a psychiatrist interview same day as pilot/HR interview. Psychiatrist also gives thumbs up or down. If down then you go to review board.

This step is after the CJO, and a video call.

No CJOs in 2025

Rumor out of the ATP-CTP class in ATL is Delta is done handing out CJO's for 2025. Seems like a wild claim and something the company would have announced. Can anyone verify or dispell this rumor?
