Have any of you heard of anyone recently getting a second chance after a TBNT? I am prior mil. Got the TBNT 2 years ago. Over half of my interview group was sent home that day. I currently work for an LCC and have over 1,000 121 hours now. Attend all the conventions and get positive feedback but nothing in 2 years. Wondering if they are giving any second chances these days...

Been a few years now, but I know a guy who got a third interview after the first two TBNT's.

Someone with recent experience will chime in, but I belive there are a large number of "second chance" hires. I believe many were getting told to call back in something like 6 months for another interview. Almost like automatic permission to call again? Anyone?

I myself know pilots that got the second chance a few years back. And got it the second round. But curious if anyone recent. They told me 6 months after interview but it’s been nearly 2 years.

I know a guy got the TBNT in 2022 and got hired in 2023. He was coming from a ULCC. So it does happen.

2023 I was a second chance hire. Was 3 months at that time. Definitely happens, and I think if you are willing to come back a 2nd time, your chances are good (kinda?).

I know the interview is different now than when I did it, but if you scored real close to getting a CJO but didn't quite make the points cut, they would give you an automatic no need to reapply second interview in 6'ish months (Mine was closer to 8 months after my first interview IIRC). Did they give you that, or did they just say you can reapply again in 6 months?

When they let us all go that morning they just said (to the group of us) that we could be reconsidered in 6 months and to keep application updated. Did you get a personal message after interview?

Yea for us, all the guys that did not get a CJO that day, but were real close to getting enough points for one, got called back into the guys office, where he told me that I was being given the automatic re-interview in 6 months time, and to contact pilot hiring close to that time to reschedule my 2nd interview.
