It’s intended for a pilot to use it however they please

…unless that pilot intends to fly on their APD day…

We should have negotiated that. That’s not what is in the contract.

I'm sure furlough protection was not intended also. Use it as you like. 23.E.1. and 23.I.1. And don't forget you can pay and credit yourself for them 23.I.18.

For the record, sailingfun said that quote not me….his inability to properly quote someone always messes it up.

You are looking for Scheduling Alert 20-25 “Payback Day Usage”. (In Aerodocs) It makes it crystal F clear that while you can put a PB day on an APD, the APD will remain and you can’t WS or GS on that day. It also provides great tips regarding how to use your PB days effectively.

The quoting in this thread is broken. It’s always quoting the wrong person unless you properly edit the post, like I just did…

Sorry to drift from the drift … just as a final summary for my own understanding for the same/next day WS question.

If I want to maximize my proffers for, say, same/next day 1 or 2 day trips, I need to put in my WS preferences each night after 2200 AND check “no” for the award next day flying on the 0700 PCS run option?

This will cause ARCOS to notify me for any trips meeting my preferences for today/tomorrow?

Thanks.
