What I love is the fact that so many people at this company can’t take 2 minutes to log onto a website and vote.
Pathetic.
Then when you get a TA, half the group is outraged because “it’s not representative of them.” Well when you have one guy who just got elected by his wide body buddies who wants nothing but restoration, and 60% of your constituents are 45 and under, you’re gonna have a bad time.

Those of us that have been around awhile know it doesn't matter. I quit voting for reps. With the recalls, lawsuits, fistfights, and other childish antics, I've just stopped caring. We'll get a contract some day and it will be underwhelming. I've seen this play out before numerous times at other airlines. Our buying power is getting set back 10 years via stagant wages, 15 percent paycut upfront via ps loss, and massive inflation whether we like it or not and there's nothing we can do about it.

In fact with such low turnouts you just might be the one vote to swing the council one way or another.

In the past, I read most of the letters. They all seem very similar. I don't know most of the guys running. I was just randomly picking. Even when we got some good guys in there, the Moak guys would just recall them anyway. I've given up. Not wasting my time. My choice. I honestly don't care anymore about LEC reps. Malone was in charge of MEC with two richest contracts ever and he couldn't even maintain staying in charge.

MEC chairmen come and go. Lots of people like to bag on BB, but forget that many of the reforms everyone seems to like, like MEMRAT for LOAs, came about during his term.

What do you consider a low turnout? My council was 52%. Traditionally that's a very high level of interest. What were the others?
