Not sure if it's the same, but people on MLOA have not been able to access the survey.

Perhaps we opt to continue dressing like professionals that the industry was founded upon. Dress casual enough and maybe people start to believe that what they are being informed of…one day, airliners will be safer with just the computers. The start to all of that is convincing them that one pilot is good enough with the new smart airplanes. Maybe go the other direction here. Keep the double breasted coat and add a aiguillette for the first officer. We will go crazy on Scope to protect our careers from JV ops, so maybe we should make sure the company and the people know that we are serious enough about the profession to keep us around as well. I’m definitely fine with continuing to pipe the Captain Aboard the Bridge.

I responded by asking for no changes. I have no desire to like look like "Generic Pilot." Our uniforms are classic.

The ‘pin’ comment was directed toward the broad ‘comply with any rule the company makes or else’ mantra that keeps getting thrown out, not about the uniform. The company can’t just make any rule it wants and demand compliance. Some freedoms do still exist in the workplace.

True and false. As long as they don't discriminate based on "age, race, gender, religion, national origin, physical or mental disability," they can pretty much do what they want. If the company wants us all to wear pink feather hats, they absolutely can.

Tear the feathers out, ask for another, repeat.

The idea that a 100yr old design is tied to compensation is ludicrous. If then we want to stand above our peers I suggest full uniform for training and office work like foreign carriers do. Until then Envoy and Delta Private Jets will continue to carry our customers on the same delta.com ticket in uniforms fitting with the times.

I think you meant Endeavor.

Envoy is an AA wholly owned
