And single breasted is better, I’ll spring for one.
Yeah I didn't get what the hat stuff was about. What's easier to travel with mean? Like a "garrison cap"?

Single breasted jackets as an option will look stupid because we'll look like different pilot groups at that point.

At least we kept the ties with short sleeve shirts.

Just one more way to divide the pilot group! Those who prefer comfort and modern gear vs. those that refuse to leave the navy.

I already bought and tailored a jacket that fits. Of course we’re now going to make something stupid like jacket type a new arbitrary “thing” for guys to divide themselves up over.

Was never in the Navy. But I have a jacket that fits. So if I would have to pay for the new one, no thanks. If Delta buys it, sure I’ll change.

Don’t really care what the dude/dudette walking next to me is wearing, I’ll be comfortable in my new modern/non steamship captain blazer.

I need a new jacket since mine is aging. I’ll be sticking with double breasted because I make that **** look good

I just bought a new double breasted too. I’m gonna buy a single breasted one as soon as they’re available. I’ll mess with captains and alternate daily. It’ll be fun.

Pretty sure as long as my gut fits behind two columns of buttons, I’m keeping mine. When I upgrade, I’ll dish out the money for some striping and keep it even longer.

I will get the new tie, though. I’m going extra long so that the “pop of color” hangs out below the blazer.

Me thinks introduction of the single breasted is the beginning of the end of the hat.
