I think this is it. BS’s boss even made a comment about trying to go the way of the smaller, more regular bid. Trying, being the operative word there.

And yet they said fewer, larger bids have less overall training. I don't expect much change really.

Yes they did. And a BNA hub too back in the 80/90s, they even had a flight to London for a year.
