Anyway the Briggs is looking good. Those at Crew Outfitters?

Not sure, but this is the one we're all referencing?

Lots of good suggestions here.

For the entire travel setup, do people usually have 2 or 3 bags? I'm trying to travel in the fewest items possible:

1. Main travel luggage
2. Flight bag
3. Dedicated cooler (how big?)

Or, do you get an integrated flight bag cooler (like Luggage Works has) to only have 2 bags?

Does this vary greatly dependent on fleet? I feel like the 737 would be difficult to travel with 3 total bags, but maybe not so much on the 7ER.

Lugging around a 3rd bag sucks no matter what fleet you're on. I've stuck with just the normal luggage and a backpack which has been great, minus the food option. I'm looking to try the one of the cooler/flight back combos to replace the backpack, just not sure it's big enough to carry the extra stuff I like to have with me in the cockpit.

That’s also the problem I’ve run into with combo bags. If anyone has a good one, post a link please.

The TravelPro 22” FlightCrew bag has been my favorite. It’s a great compromise between weight, cost, and durability. As long as you don’t consistently overstuff the bag, they last a long time. That being said, the wheels will probably need to be replaced within a year or two.

That’s why I just stick with dry food. The coolers don’t really work THAT well, and there’s no way I’m taking 3 bags, because that just sucks.

I’ve had a couple of the flight totes from LW, and I like them. Large central compartment to store most of my things, with smaller pockets for the little stuff (passport, etc). Both the Aurora flight tote and the Stealth flight tote are nice.

It might be, maybe the guys that own them can chime in?

that’s the one. Used to be $450. I think there’s a 20% deal through DeltaNet

Seriously, get this bag:

22" suitcase on sale for $80

You're not going to find a better bag at that price. The Briggs and Riley might be a better bag, but not 5X more expensive better.
