So if UAL has a Me too @ AAL/DAL +5, and AAL and DAL put me too in as well, do we end up with a $gazillion rates? Asking for a friend

For those who didn’t look on their forum, the claim is 3 year contract with a TOTAL raise of 20% over that time frame. AND Positive Space commuting AND eliminating their airport standby.

Sounds like a pay cut over that length of time to me.

20% over 3 years is anemic, given they have been amendable about the same time as us. That probably won’t keep up with inflation from amendable date to amendable date, much less be a gain.

If the 5% “me too” is accurate, it will help a lot.

We are at 15% inflation since we last had a raise, per the BLS CPI calculator.

It's really looking like 40% will be required to keep the purchasing power of a pre-covid paycheck. PSC saves the company money, so that's meh... I doubt that will pass memrat.

Actually kinda smart. Get a contract with a Meh pay raise (but a solid me too clause) and fix lost of other stuff that probably would not be as easy to me too ( PSC, health insurance, eliminating FSB, ect.)

let DL negotiate the pay raise.

on the flip, if they do have a DL+ clause, that gives us solid ammo to get a better pay raise, as whatever we get, one of our biggest competitor will have to pay their employees as well.

I think I saw the me too clause was average DL/AA up to 5%. So I understand that to be a max pay increase possible to 25%, depending on us.?
