We became amendable in Jan 2019. The company can agree to a 15% percent (or so....no idea of the correct number) increase and the pilot cost will be flat in 2019 dollars given inflation.

Our contract value is eroding just sitting here. I'm hoping there is some mechanism for this going forward to prevent rewarding the company for slow rolling the process.
Even potted plants can make an escalator (clause) work.

NO until we get an escalator clause.

Completely false. For one who writes about opportunity cost and TVM you know there is no good offer without motivation. We can settle prior to the amendable date every time if the company really wants to. The details are in the deal AT the time of the deal. This is just more capitulation rhetoric.

Cool you are exercising your seniority, the way it should be.

Good for you
I used the old iPad program that literally had me logged in after 3 to 4 seconds. After Delta banned that I use this link. Sadly it takes 6 or 7 seconds.

The long layovers I get now are associated with redeyes and that's its own level of brutality.

Yes but in order to get there you have to fly the “new Maddog” of the fleet. With … wait for it … OMG … switches on the overhead*. 😝

It's gotten much worse whether you want to believe that or not. 3 day trip with 2 12 overnights a week was the norm when I signed up. If you did longer trips you got a longer "night out" layover. Add in the reroute BS and you have no idea what the next leg will be or where and how long the overnight might be. Go ahead and sell 23K, you will be an reserve the rest of your life.

Preach! I'm all for some 4 and 5 day trips for the commuters, but man I wish we could get a more even balance of 1 and 2 day trips. 63% of our trips are 4/5 day trips, while only 3% are 1/2 day trips, pretty horrible.
