Yes. Roll the bones and hope you don’t get used in the first six hours of that footprint. Or put in a recovery slip to fly at least 50% of that trip to be paid fully for the original. Need not be a trip on the any of the same days as the original.

Maybe. Go to reserve status in iCrew and see if anything is listed. If it's blank, you're off the hook. If it's not blank, do as Ted says. I recommend against rolling the dice right now.

Thanks for the replies. I’m not listed on the Reserve Avial. List for those days. Looks like I might be off the hook. Still not 100% sure.

23k will not show up on the reserve availability list. Go view your monthly schedule, click to the next page where you can select the individual pairings, then near the top you’ll see an option to display reserve call status information. That’s where 23k shows up.

Find a trip that’s worth half of the credit before then and be done with it.

Make sure to submit a recovery slip, not a WS. That would be a mistake

Yep. Everytime I ended up doing this. It's just so much nicer knowing what/when you are going to fly. And you can snag a primo trip you could otherwise never could get because recovery slips are above WSs, etc.

If you commute finding a trip as mentioned above is probably the best option. If you are in base I would wait it out.
