I had a similar experience this morning and last night. We are on track to make summer 2019 look like nothing at this rate.

This is absolute bull****. We gave up batch sizes to stop this. Union literally said the damage being done was worth giving up batch sizes. Now that we all auto accept and don’t auto acknowledge, the company isn’t even running GS coverage and just skipping straight to IA free-for-all. They also aren’t paying pilots via 23.m.7. On June 28th, yoi can see exactly when they started skipping GS coverage and going straight to 23.M.7. It’s infuriating to me.

I’d like to see us stop accepting IA’s as a group.

This one had about 3 1/2 hours of notice before report, which makes it even more ludicrous. We had a series of other GS calls go out overnight as usual, and they found coverage in reasonable time.

I was already planning to do a Crew Assist inquiry about this, but for the experts here, what is supposed to happen when they opt to skip steps of coverage?

Some folks are making some serious cash. If I was at the top of my category, I'd clear my schedule, pick up a couple of SLV slips, one GS and put in auto accept with no intention of flying and reap 23M7 payouts. Ref: SLC320A

Dropping your schedule to credit surf one and two day trips is so last month.....

BTW, have I mentioned we need a leveling mechanism for SLV Slips.....good grief.

So I believe the IA/batch size/M7 agreement simply stopped IAs (ha!) above 8 hours in exchange for unlimited batch sizes plus proper automated logging inside of hours (where straight to IA is permitted. There is also another gate at 3 hours. But I haven’t seen the settlement agreement so I’m not completely sure.

I mean, it worked great for them last time when we gave away batch sizes. Why not manufacture another "crisis" and see what we will give away this time?

So go offer your expertise to fix our software might turn into a good gig 😁

My son is a software engineer, they're using AI for coding pretty complicated applications in industry and finance right now. Just saying.
