I’ve read the scheduling alerts. I got an icrew pop up for training in May. Since it’s after the opening of the May bid window, how do I let the company know that I don’t consent to it being pre-loaded in PBS? Also, what constitutes notification from the company?

2. Qualification Training a. The minimum time between the posting of qualification training in DBMS and commencement of such training will be: 1) 15 days if the training is a result of an AE or VD award. 2) 25 days if the training is a result of an MD award.

Call the alpa office on Monday and ask for contract admin. They will give you the run down.

Look at Contract Awareness Bulletin 21-09 on the DALMEC website. I would suggest not consenting to having your training pre-posted in PBS and I would bid as though you have a shadow period over that time period. If the company posts training after 1800E on the 4th without your consent it will be treated as a bid award error and the company will have to pay you based on what trips you could have held without the training posted.
Send a PBS Bid Inquiry if you need further guidance.

Not a relevant or helpful response in this situation. The company can post training with 15 days notice but they can not change a pilot’s pre-posted activities in PBS after 1800E on the 4th without the pilot’s content, which is the situation the OP finds themselves in.

His post was not clear on if the company has in fact preposted the training. He can in fact quickly check that in PBS looking at his calendar. The default for anything posted after the 4th is that it’s not preposted. I did not get the notification part as there is no requirement to notify beyond posting the training in DBMS. The planner is supposed to try and contact the pilot to see if he wants it preposted but for 90% of the pilots you don’t want that option.
