I’ve been impatiently waiting too. I thought the United AIP and our scope AIP were announced at roughly the same time. I know the lawyers finalizing the language can take time, but surely a single section should be faster than the entire contract.

They were announced just about the same time.

Like you, I would like to see it, but… Hopefully our guys are taking all the time it needs to do it right, unlike the United TA which is a cheap scope and work rules sell.

I’m hoping that too

After seeing their TA I’m pretty sure they just copied paste from the company proposal. I hope our lawyers and maybe a 5th grader looks over the the language so I can understand it.

Yeah my wife’s company just did the same thing. Two legs to France for work. Tickets from Delta. Neither leg is on Delta. Westjet and AF.

I posted a thread about this the other week—where I live to Cancun via Toronto to CUN on Westjet. Or via Mexico City on Aero Mexico as options. Sailingfun told me I am an idiot and this isn’t a thing from where he lives.

Insane.

I wonder if we ever carry passengers from, say, Monterrey through ATL to LHR

I'lll bet there are two. Which enables the company to cherry pick one route to dodge with, "we carry each other's passengers from time to time".

Thread bump... anyone heard anything at all about this? Seems other than announcing the API it's been crickets since then. Going on 2 months now... maybe the agreement wasn't as solid as it was made to seem....

I know I throw a lot of sarcasm around, I am tired of being correct. Maybe the scope AIP served the same function as the UAL AIP, buy time and keep the troops hopeful through summer. I would love to be wrong, however, with the record amount of WBs on order, the company doesn't need Sec 1 concessions to grow these new markets... unless.

It's solid. NC is taking their time going through every scenario with the language. When it goes back to the company side, its taking a long time for the appropriate folks to review the change and then make their changes and send it back over. Most of these folks are senior leaders and negotiating is number 30 on their lists of things to do for the week. That is the sad reality. I'm all for our NC taking the time (which they are) to make this as ironclad as possible.
