Awaiting OE, I haven’t looked at company stuff in two weeks, aside from reviewing flows and such in Vol.1 so I don’t look like a moron on leg one.

Coming out of hibernation to vote in favor of a
strike!

Its been almost exactly 24 years since the NWA strike of 98. Ready to go again. Bring it on!

Not a Delta guy, but good on you gents and ladies. Hoping SWAPA copies y’alls cojones.

Good luck!

The strong dollar...

The dollar is incredibly weak and getting weaker. That's what inflation means.

That its the slowest sinking ship in a sea of sinking ships doesn't make it safe to get on board.

I disconnected my iPad from wifi and used the data plan to do it.

Suck it Ed.

I hope you did it in Costa Rica.

YES, definitely.

This is not the same Delta to which I was hired. Back then I actually believed in the 'Rules of the Road', 'The way we fly' and 'The Code of Ethics'. I even believed that management followed them. Now I wonder if management even knows what those documents say or mean.

Does anyone know of anyone who voted no?

I don’t know for sure, but I’m pretty sure I know pilots who either voted no or didn’t vote. Pilots wearing hat and company lanyard. Met a guy today who had been with company just under 3 years. He got defensive and aggressive when I mentioned I thought he was on probation. Guess I’m not first person to confront him.

You’d think someone who went through UNA would be a bit more ready to go.

That would be nice but have you been following the economic news lately? The world economy is literally breaking as we speak, the British pension system just got what amounts to a margin call. Did you see the inflation numbers in the Netherlands? China housing loans put the US 2008 ordeal to shame. Russia is literally threatening to use a "tactical" nuclear weapon which is 200 times stronger than the bomb dropped in Hiroshima. The US Federal Reserve is years behind the curve in their tightening. They have straight out said expect pain. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see the economy supporting those kinds of numbers. I'm just hoping we get through the year with small profits and no downsizing. We saw how quickly things can change for the good and bad during Covid. The economy could wreck us this next year.

I think you should cut your loss now and just quit!! If Delta can't support their business costs, then let them file for BK again. Many of us have been through this rodeo before and it doesn't make one **** difference if the economic climate isn't good or is the greatest ever... stop the fear mongering!!!
