Slap in the face to us. Yet American pilots are agreeing to a 12/5/2 contract? Are you kidding me?
So there is no imminent danger of getting undercut by AA. |

I’m guessing this info was somehow leaked? Isn’t an AIP kept secret until released as a TA to the rank and file?
If the numbers are accurate then the question is who talked? |
This is what happens when you let everyone else go first.

30%?
So I’m sure I’m wrong as this is math in public but if the top captain pay rates are accurate we would need a 30% pay raise to match the Endeavor rate. Now I just took the captain top rate of $237.25 divided by our current CRJ900 rate of $124.66 to get that.
I now believe that a new floor has been established. Who knows but food for thought. |

So we’ll have FOs flying 350s making less than Endeavor new hires? Neat.

At this level it's not about the pay it's about the benefits and QOL.
Endeavor got a pay boost. They did not receive much in benefits and QOL. Here at mainline, we should focus on restoring buying power eaten away by inflation and the rest on "soft money" benefits and workrules |

I’ve often believed that the Legacy’s could actually get away with compensating slightly lower than single type carriers or domestic only BECAUSE of the value pilots place on CHOICE.
Almost everyone I talk to that’s has left SWA, an LCC, etc has come here for choice. DAL, UAL, and AMR offer more choice than any other US carrier. The executives may be realizing that. They’re paying the guys that fly the garbage the best now. They’re offering the guys that fly the big, exotic stuff a pittance. In the process they are getting the pilot unions in AMR and UAL to fall into disarray. We need to be very vigilant to not allow that here. Interesting times. Management can pay up. Our CRJ900 pay rate now has a new floor, and our other fleets can maintain the percentage differential they currently have over it. |
Hey all, vote NO until you get EWR split out as a separate base again. I'm there with bells on if you do!

I guess the APA the meeting on Monday to vote on it got postponed indefinitely due to process irregularities.
So there is no imminent danger of getting undercut by AA. Yeah…apparently a single negotiator worked with the company behind the scenes. APA process requires at least 2 to work on negotiations. Rumor I heard is an old hat trying to get something done before they head out the door. |
