Real leverage right now would be a lack of revenue due to a lack of pilots thanks to one of the carriers getting a great contract.
We saw that happen fast with the regionals.
But all of the majors are enjoying that nobody has cracked yet. And meanwhile we are catching up with hiring.
Our best leverage point was this past spring.

Hey, at least we aren’t wearing our hats! That’ll show them… not. Biggest waste of time. I’m getting ready to start wearing mine again. It isn’t doing anything and I’m tired of having to spend time making my hair look presentable.

After all, about 10% were already not wearing it to begin with.
After a year or more without it (probably), it will likely be game over for the hat.

Fair enough. What above the golden jacket? Is it acceptable to wear that now or are we all going north face?

At least the jacket does keep you insulated in the 35-55 degree temperature range. That hat does nothing.
A company jacket like a North Face shell would be nice.
I'll wear the horse blanket until the union says otherwise.
I don't think the public cares one iota about that hat. They want two pilots to walk up to their gate that don't look like slobs.

I agree. RS wasn't the reason. Same NC is here, basically the same direction from old and new reps. The company's tactic was to delay a pilot landslide deal that nearly worked when covid happened.
I honestly miss RS's tone. It was nice to have a strong MEC chair for once.
