I'm a NB FO and consider myself slightly above well below average
Last three years I was on 6 months of 3rd year pay, 4th, 5th, then 6 months of 6th year pay. Sat around for almost a year due to NQAT, so just making ALV with no ability to GS. I rolled thunder 1 month (no I'm not the SEA 330 Capt with 700+ hours....my hero!) this past summer and have cashed in 5 PB days during the last 3 years. Other than the one month of thunder, have only done 6-9 GS in my career because I"m a commuter. I'm already at $566K for last 3 years and still have 3 more paychecks to go in 2022. So assuming all the Capts and all the FO's senior to me, I'm guessing at least 69% of the seniority list did better than me the last 3 years, so I find his $500K to be a little low actually. Just my slightly moist napkin math. |

So on our SWAPA union forum. We are hearing DAL is offering 35/8/8. They are calling it a Generational deal and could be complete by end of year. Thoughts from Delta guys or is this SWA pilots just spreading garbage.

My expectation based on 18% and my own basic, back of the napkin math puts the average retro check north of $90k and counting. Aim higher.

You have the “average” pilot making north of 500k the last 3 years? Interesting Napkin

500k per year, not total.
He said "retro check"....I take that to mean he is talking full retro for last 3 years since amendable date, where the "average" pilot earned $500K cumulative, not per year. 18% of $500K is $90K. |
