Given the $100,000 bonuses at PSA, Envoy and Piedmont, this is the absolute minimum retro for any Delta pilot.

Also don’t forget Endeavors generous bonus system. Use the pay calculator and play around. $110k bonus there + other incentives. https://www.endeavorair.com/content/endeavor-air/en_us/careers/pilots/Pilot.html

In the past how has retro or signing bonuses been paid to guys on STD or LTD? Say they are active now but is on LTD when the new contract is signed.

Retro, like Profit Sharing, is paid on active wages in the affected period. STD/LTD income does not count.

Signing Bonus would depend on how it’s negotiated, I would expect.

The IRS actually withholds 22% on bonuses. https://www.irs.gov/publications/p15...link1000202337

Looks like Delta is sending Glen H to the next round of negotiations. Ploy or sign of actual progress?

So on our SWAPA union forum. We are hearing DAL is offering 35/8/8. They are calling it a Generational deal and could be complete by end of year. Thoughts from Delta guys or is this SWA pilots just spreading garbage.

This kind of trial balloon never works. You are a company shill and are undermining our negotiating committee. Please take your lowball rumors back to management with a little more thought on how they can improve QOL.

It is interesting nonetheless, maybe we really put the pedal to the metal and have a AIP by January.

It’s very telling. Also that they are all traveling to North Carolina, including the entire MEC (reps included) to physically be together. This is the endgame.

We need to heed the NC and MEC chairs admonitions to stay unified and resolute. Do NOT engage in rumors unless you heard it directly from their lips. Otherwise we undermine ourselves.

And knock off the distraction bickering over the incoming MEC chair. FOCUS.

Amen. Stay focused together on the goal.

I think it's a wise move to sent the entire union next week to negotiations. But let's not get our hopes up. Based on our ask(which we will eventually get), it is statistically unlikely that a deal will be reached next week. This contract will rival Contract 2000, and it's more likely than not that a longer stalement will be required to achieve it. The likelihood of the company capitulating this early in negotiations, is small. And yes, I realize I'm calling 3 years of negotiations "early".
