Exactly. I've never understood this. Its often blamed on the mediator's schedule, but I don't believe that for a second.

I agree. It’s just a question of which Waffle House will host it, and of course getting a booth because you can’t have a nice conversation at the counter.

I hate the counter (best clip I could find)

It focuses everyone. Mgmt (and the MEC) would be constantly be barraged with little things they need to solve if they were in Atlanta. This way, everyone's efforts can be focused. I think this is the endgame. If no agreement by the middle of December, we're in for a much longer haul.

The mediator lives in NC. The MEC traveling there is ridiculous. Like chasing after a hot girl bc she winks at you.

Agreed, they should all be required to stay at the Sonesta on VA Ave. with no transportation and forced to eat the limited menu at the hotel restaurant or walk to VA. ave to find food during their breaks. I’d love to see that.
