Don’t let perfect be the enemy of the good. Hundreds of pilots in their final year of employment will vote on contracts that will last over three years. Many of that contracts’ changes won’t implement until after they have left the property.

I don’t have the data, but I imagine the vast majority of pilots out on MLOA during a contract (or MEMRAT) vote will return in time to work under that specific agreement. Likely more than 95% will return to work under the after-affects triggered, precedents established by (and collateral damage of) agreements entered into during their leave of absence.

My point is, if you want to continue to vote, you plan on returning. If you plan on returning soon, you probably aren't getting another job. I wouldn't mind keeping my vote for 1.8% of nothing.

My bad(maybe)....... I thought you had to pay dues on the LTD if you wanted to preserve your vote by staying active for 3 years. Maybe I misread a previous post(I am not that vested as it doesn't apply to me so my GAS factor is fairly low)

No argument here.

And I don’t even think “probationary” should be a status.

I submit they would be more vested than say, someone like you, who is gonna leave imminently and will vote for any POS just to get your money before you walk out the door. He didn't choose to get furloughed. Also, you will note I said furloughees who have not bypassed recall.

But you are welcome to your opinion...just wish you could bring some reasoning with your unequivocal statements. I provided mine(reasoning) which has at least some merit, even if you disagree with it.

If they are still out on furlough, how do you know they won't bypass? That is the turd in the punchbowl. And your submission that they would be more vested than me is just stupid.

And how dare you assume I will vote for any POS that comes out just to get my money. I fully expect this to drag out until after I'm gone. We ain't even gonna even have **** to look at until late next spring at the very earliest anyway.

I have been a long time alpa koolaid drinker until all of this started. With all the trough dwelling that is going on, and the factions preserving the job of a rep whose CONSTITUENTS want gone is too much for even me. I wish DPA would get some traction at this point.

It's interesting how the C66 FO has changed from being on record as hardcore pro-mandate ...to medical freedom poster child.

Pandering to get support from the anti-vax demo. So much for principles.

If he loses the recall, he can always re-apply to be an assistant chief pilot, I guess.
