Pandering to get support from the anti-vax demo. So much for principles.

If he loses the recall, he can always re-apply to be an assistant chief pilot, I guess.
or just start his next term in March

Some people change their minds especially when they get feedback from their constituents. And this is especially true when dealing with a global pandemic. Information changes and so should our opinions.

If these numbers are indicative of pro-against AIP, it is an 80-20 pass.

Interesting.. if this is true, the ratio is similar to the LOA 20-04 vote, iirc.

I don't think they are related, directly. I think there is a significant amount of people who don't wish to break the wagon right now over this, especially if they would have to just recall him again in 6 months.

I agree. This vote is not related to the AIP. This was all
about the MEC chair vote and what looks like sour grapes from TK. In my opinion the time for recalls is not now.
For context I was one of the 150 voting against, and I’m very undecided on the AIP. I have gone from lean No to lean Yes and now the 2023 rates are swaying me back toward a No on principle.

You mean the 2023 rates that won’t likely start until 2023 is 1/3 over?
