Man you nailed it . I understand trying to help save a few bucks when we all can but making a plane load of people sweat and wait til 5 minutes before departure to start APU is ridiculous. Then you get to destination and wait 20 minutes for a gate with engine(s) running or wait 30 minutes or more in LaGarbage or JFDelay for a gate and the question begs to be answered, Why do some Captains feel good about making paying customers sweat profusely ? Is it really saving that much ? Especially when the Airlines turn around and dump millions of dollars into these climate , Carbon Neutral, green deal things .

For each hotel incident I was at the hotel. Sometimes curbside sometimes in the lobby always with the coat on.
For the uniform compliment I was in one of the ATL terminals.
Cbreezy said it exactly right. If the pilot uniform were so brand relevant, it would be like a coke can. It can be printed in any language in the world and everyone knows what it is.
