Agreed. My wife worked for a fortune 50 company in Atlanta. I’d go have lunch with her at work on many occasions. Saw a lot of VERY expensive suits, but NONE were double breasted, not even amongst senior management.
I’ve less than 5 years left and I’ll spring for the single breasted jacket ASAP, if for no other reason than it’ll bother the type that’s in love with the horse blanket.

Along with never having to think about work once I go home, one of the greatest benefits of this job is not having to spend a fortune on a wardrobe and constantly deciding what to wear.
Pilots may gripe about particulars about the specific uniform, but all in all, I think it’s great to have to keep up with professional fashion trends.
