Biden: “I am a proudly pro-labor president but….”

Ned Stark: “Anything that a man says before the word “but” doesn’t mean anything at all.”

Who pray tell was that? Don’t say Puchala because she’s been on the Board for many years. The Cheeto nominated a same-party controlled NMB, just like every President before and after: two members from the President’s own party and one member from the minority party.

You write intelligently, then use “the Cheeto” and destroy all your credibility. Just sayin.

God, why are you guys so obsessed with Trump? He's not the President anymore and probably never will be!

Dems (in the US) are still very free market capitalist and not very labor friendly (just enough platitudes towards labor to get them votes), so Biden's actions aren't really surprising. Still probably slightly more labor friendly than a Republican administration, but not by much.

It's to save face of his time in office. A national shut down of the railroads would probably kill his chances at reelection. Forget that he's a Democratic. Politicians (yes including Trump) would gladly push through the TA if it meant they aren't at risk to losing their jobs.
