I am hoping this order changes that.
Currently we have multiple international departures from LAX/SEA/SLC and PDX. I am not sure that qualifies as no international to speak of. If China reopens those numbers will go up.
Delta has never however been a west coast airline. I made a decision to move east in 1998 because of that reality.

I just finished a 16+59 flight. I wouldn't go back to a Boeing yoke laden airplane for anything at this point.

3-4-3 , We made the cabin 4" wider. Plenty of room for another seat in each row...

(not saying Delta would do this, but I can think of a few airlines that may try...)
LOL Delta will do that in a heartbeat

And I just got paid for that trip, and got to stay home and sleep in a real bed!

Thank Greg for me!

Eh, we were one of the few hold outs who never did that on the 777 so maybe not. If this alleged A350-1000 order ever gets announced, I guess we will see then what they decide.

RA cxld them. Maybe it was Steenland with the 340s.

The tri-motors were always going to be parked at some point; same with the whales. They were also replaced by newer, more modern jets.

Of course they are; the company has said as much. They are aging fleets and are less competitive from an operational/perfomance aspect as well as customer product offering.

If it's an option, Delta didn't buy it - along the lines of brake fans, taxi cameras, ozone scrubbers and the Rust-Oleum underbody treatment. I believe the BoD did approve the Scotchgard treatment though. 😁

One small point for the 787. It pressurizes the cabin with clean air not air pulled from the bleeds. Having seen how much oil is allowed to leak from nose seals ect.. I like that concept verses bleed air.
