If the ladders are followed the way they should, VAS comes after GS, therefore, they literally cannot take away your GS.

And even if they do invoke 23.M.7 and they skipped GS and VAS steps and you had GS in, you would get single pay over the most senior pilot that was on VAS, so VAS can’t take away that pay either.

So what’s your point again?
This shows how out of touch you are. Scheduling is not paying pilots when 23M7 is used, you must catch them. VAS pilots will be used via 23M7 most of the time I believe, and unless it shows up on daily trip coverage, no one will even know a VAS was used.

They don’t just put green slips in. It’s out of base white slips. Senior guy stays senior for everyone of those skipped. If I was Uber senior I’d consider that trick although I don’t know how they deal with all of the Arcos calls for the trips that are being covered in the proper order.

If anyone was expecting to be wowed by the Pro-Con papers in either direction they will be disappointed. Basically dry regurgitation of the gains on the Pro side, alongside we should have gotten more on the Con side. The seven unanswered QOL gain pages is probably the only exception - and speaks greatly to the quantity of QOL improvements.

In any case I doubt many minds or votes will be changed, but I do appreciate the effort to point out both the good and bad.

I have no reason to think it wouldn’t be on daily trip coverage.

Yeah the con side was pretty weak. I voted yes, and could come up with plenty of cons outside of "we should have gotten more". On the QOL side, plenty of the workrules were clearly solutions to company problems, where we agreed in exchange for more $$. Instead of involuntary productivity gives, we got voluntary with extra pay. Instead of getting rid of PB days, we got a new tools for CS to use that assure excess known flying go to regular pilots as overtime, vs reserves that screw future staffing. Just an example that's been hashed to death on these forums.

That was a pretty pathetic con effort. How about how some of the section 23 QOL items may interact in a way “we didn’t think they’d do that.”

Dann-Messier was an author. I am sure he was about as interested in finding real fault as Pelosi is in voting for Trump.

That's one reason it's such a big deal we will have API access to the company systems, we will be able to set it up to tell us when it happens real time.

Ironically it shows how out of touch you are that you don't seem to be aware of the new API access.

Is API only for trip coverage info, or will it be able to track when all soft pay provisions are triggered?
