Perhaps, but those are driven by network, pax prefer the redeye both ways. Pilot pay is peanuts compared to the revenue on the flights, they won’t kneecap it for us, we aren’t that important. It would be like worrying that Europe becomes all day flights over and back, to turn them into two days.

The min calendar day rig does not apply to Ocean Crossing. The PWA defines an Ocean Crossing as: To or from an airport in South America, as follows: 1) between the United States and any point further south of the equator than 3 degrees, 30 minutes south latitude on the South American continent, and 2) any flight segment scheduled for greater than eight hours to, within or from the South American continent. So looks like only Bogota could potentially be effected depending on where it was served from.

You miss the point. The flights won't change, but pilots could see airport hotels and 12 hour layovers in those places rather than the 30 hour layovers. I don't know about you, but an airport hotel layover is not the reason I chose to fly international. It is not possible for that to happen to Europe flights because they only happen once every 24 hours (with minor exceptions like AMS). It would be impossible to shorten those layovers any more. Delta hates credit time. They will cut it anywhere they can if the incentive for them do do so is enough. That point is a guaranteed duty day that is somewhere more than what we currently have, and I would wager it isn't all that far off.

The company plays the long game. You'll find that out some day if you allow your myopic/trusting view to continue. Lord knows I have.

So what I am saying is false then? What's your argument?

Tis thee that has no interest in an honest discussion old windy one.

You prefer to slam my character and throw out the old 'he's throwing the victim card' replies while discounting my concerns.

But as I said earlier, you can relax. You won. Just stop rubbing my nose in it when I point out that it ain't all that great an agreement for everybody.

Probably not, so I think this is a weak attempt at publishing something that the MEC had no real interest in doing in the first place in an attempt to placate the 'no' voters. IMHO it is a disservice that the MEC didn't want these released prior to commencement of voting because they are all in on this TA. After talking to two of the ATL reps, I have no doubt that they would do anything to ensure passage. I guess what bothers me is that they essentially withheld information. So why even bother with memrat? Let's just go back to the days before we had it.
This statement is irrelevant because anyone can change their vote an infinite number of times until the window closes. So if a bunch of people already voted yes before the pro/con paper came out, they are free to read the con paper and change their vote if they feel swayed.

Here's the discussion about the effects of the min calendar day to 30 hour layovers:

Me: It isn't always additive. Clarifies the language.
You: Just wait until my EZE/GRU layovers become turns because of this new language
Me: The language doesn't apply to those places. See the language.
You: Musing about long games and trust and other things irrelevant to the part that you were wrong and don't want to admit it.

You can just say, "Oh, I didn't know it didn't apply to those cities. I was wrong about that. I guess those rotations won't be affected." And I'll glad stop responding about it.

Dude he just crushed you on here with facts, and your response was bleh it’s all good it’s your problem? You are a joke now. Period. Ridden with emotional responses over a pension that you could have alleviated on your own (as proven by sailings math) You have become “that guy”

Put up facts or just take it like an adult and admit you were wrong
