Pro/Con Papers?

I say this with all sincerity. I hope your version of ALPA never 'gives' the company 46% of your pay, only to then have the company come back in bankruptcy and take more. As it currently stands, you can't remotely relate to what that was like.

I went through two bankruptcies, the key is to never ever give any concessions prior to an 1113c filing, that mistake can never be made again. Those are permanent pay resets, whereas bankruptcy concessions can mostly be recovered.

You are absolutely correct. And with this contract, and these payrates, it does in fact complete and validate the reset.

You are absolutely right. I can’t. That must have seriously sucked. I have a had a lucky/charmed career, and have no room to complain about the contract.

I actually don't think you're being sincere. I think you want us "young kids" to be taught a lesson.

Overall I’m not thrilled with this deal but I don’t see how it is the lottery for the new hire younger pilots and a slap in the face for others. What you didn’t get no one else also isn’t getting. The only exception I can come up with is vacation gains not related to the pay? Or maybe not being here long enough to see the DC of 18%?

Totally false. Right now, they can only reroute you outside of 14 hours if they cannot position a pilot to cover the open time. Other than that, reroutes outside of 14 hours are currently illegal.

Splitting hairs here, but many pilots seem tied to this notion that CS/CT *can’t* do something. CT absolutely can reroute pilots into flying outside of 14 hours. It’s just a much harsher pay treatment.
