You can do both. Stopping useless waste is good for the bottom line and the environment. I’ve heard people
complain about the signs that ask you to re-use towels. I don’t get it.

Reminds me of Delta's commitment to get rid of single use plastics and our current service cups. (and the containers for DTW lounge meals)

no issue with that at all. The customer has a choice in the matter. These lousy thermostats detract from the most important thing a hotel should provide: quality sleep allowing well rested pilots to safely move airplanes.

Styling a pocket handkerchief with the new uniform as a reusable snot rag would be a great virtue signal to the public.....yea, trendsetters. That be us! Think of all the trees that will be saved.<TIC, sort of>

Thanks. Now how bout the other half dozen or so thermostat types? And fwiw, some hotels have that “hack” blocked. The original objection stands.

I would also consider solar panels and a windmill and high efficiency windows on my home, a heat pump hot water heater, etc..... if the math works out, absolutely. I have no problem being more efficient as long as there is a good ROI to it. What I will not tolerate is fake environmental socialism being rammed down my throat to simply advance someone else's bogus political agenda.
