aluminum is quite heavy and gets banged up easily , not worth the premium especially if you plan to use it for work , probably would have more than a just few stares as well 😂

Had a chance to stop in at the B&R store on B concourse at SLC. It was more clear hands-on that the J-hook accessory actually clicks into the hinge and isn't loose like it appears on the website. Also, the store said they offer 20% off for crew. Not sure if that's the case at all B&R stores.

The rimowa polycarbonate is light and rolls extremely well , comes with lifetime warranty which I used a few times, either replaced the whole luggage or fixed as needed with no questions asked .

it’s been brought to my attention that the 20% off is only applicable to your first purchase. So…. Disregard!

I just got an ebags Mother Lode Rolling Travel Backpack. The seems to be out of stock everywhere right now, but I'm guessing they'll be back? ...sorry guys, I think I got the last one. This bag is made for those of us who prefer 1 and 2 day trips. It allows me to pack an overnight kit in case I get stuck out on a day turn, but also has plenty of room to act as a flight kit. It's so nice only carrying one bag, plus it allows me to have the FO's use the cockpit storage. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm guessing I could easily pack for a 3 day as well (in the summer anyway). It fits upright beside me on the 717, but next time I'm going to try to lay it down or put it in the area to the back left of me. Worst case I set it to my back left on the 717, where it easily fits.
