color wise, I was wearing my current uniform pants…. I couldn’t see any color difference, at least not in crew outfitters lighting. I don’t think anyone will know, unless yours are pleated as I did not see that as an option.

You should run this air line. Don’t be shy to volunteer
I am sure you can fix it fast

I'm not air line CEO material. I parted ways with the MBA ladder climbing lifestyle two decades ago in favor of aviation. I've volunteered plenty of time in other areas related to Delta and aviation in general. They don't need my help on the uniform.

They mentioned in a skyhub live that nobody was purchasing the pleated pants, therefore, they assumed nobody was wearing them. Anyone who wants pleated, but was buying them from Kohls, it’s their own fault they are not part of the uniform refresh.

Now, let’s do that to the hat!

During the winter I wear a black wool coat from Jos. A. Bank. It's allowed per the FOM and actually looks nice with the hat.
For the walk-arounds during fall I have a zip up black fleece.

During the winter I carry a "standard" black zip up jacket from Columbia for layovers as well as the double breasted blazer. Once we're at the aircraft, if the conditions are such that I don't think the blazer is going to cut it for the walk around, I announce loud enough for the CVR that I'm going with "non standard outerwear for the walk around in the interest of comfort and safety" as I pull my layover jacket from my bag. Never once have I gotten push back from a CA or LCA. Usually the response is just a chuckle or a "do what you gotta do!"

All this talk about "coats" and "hats" for the walk around only shows that some of your aren't DTW or MSP based. Jeeshe... acting like it's cold out there in the winter!

Why does the CVR care?
